I graduated from Occidental College in 2021, with a major in Economics and a minor in Mathematics. I will continue my master study in Economics at Columbia University for the next 1.5 years.

( June 2019 – August 2019)

  • Assisted supervisor with relevant research and data regarding potential investment projects.
  • Arranged and prepared paperwork when meeting with clients.
  • Studied research and analysis skills in terms of public finance, private enterprises and bond market, and identified and interpreted daily news that could possibly affect the enterprise.
  • Translated English and Chinese documents and researches from one to another.

Leadership & Activities

President at Dream Corps, Occidental College
(September 2018 – May 2021)

  • Host weekly meeting to discuss innovative ideas for upcoming events.
  • Introduce Dream Corps to students and assisted with those who wish to be a volunteer in rural China to educate and help underserved children in summer.
  • Conducted four funding raising events for volunteers with their transportation and living and raised over $1,000.

Chair of Lunar New Year Committee at Chinese Culture Club
(December 2017 – May 2019)

  • Planned and organized annual Lunar New Year Gala, which attracted more than 200 students and faculties and achieved Excellence Program of the Year in 2018 and 2019.
  • Communicated with some departments and organizations on campus for funding, which raised over $5,000.
  • Contacted student performers and groups in and outside school to perform on stage, which greatly advertised Chinese culture to Occidental College community.

Social Director at Asian American Tutorial Project
(December 2017 – May 2021)

  • Provide weekly academic support and social activities for over 70 immigrant children, which fulfilled the urgent educational demands of the immigrant youth population of the Chinatown Community.
  • Organize recreational events for tutors, which recruited more than 20 students per year and promoted club on campus.
  • Coordinate with directors from USC and UCLA to hold annual meeting for all tutors and directors.
